Pigeon race results

A total of 346 birds entered the Morgans Cane Cross Country Classic held by the Christchurch Pigeon Federation recently. The birds were liberated from East Cape on Saturday morning and the first bird to complete the 824 km distance was owned by L. Keenan. His bird came home in a time of 12 hours 34 minutes. <
