Accommodation, discounts
A wide choice of accommodation is available for
festival-goers. Besides being able to choose from among the region’s hotels and motels, visitors have two other options — staying on a farm or at the Arowhenua marae. Many farming families on properties close to the Holme station have offered accommodation, and most are able to take four people. The daily rate for a farm stay is $35 per person, $l5 for dinner, and $5 for lunch. Addresses, . telephone numbers, and locations are shown on the festival map.
Hotel and motel bookings in Timaru and Waimate. can
be made through the Aorangi Public Relations Office in Timaru (86-163, or P.O. Box 194).
