Prime sheep values rise in small yarding

The over-all yarding at Addington market yesterday was well below last week’s level.

Prices were similar to last week but did not have such a wide variation between light and heavier stock.

Hoggets and other sheep recorded good increases in prices but this was mainly because it was the last sale before Christmas and the increase is not expected to continue at the next sale.
