Jack’s hut
Sir, — Your article “Butler in retrospect” (December 11) did not mention the lovely little book written by Grace Butler called “Jack’s Hut.” It covers the purchase of same and happy holiday life with the family, interesting notes on other, early families and (interesting) geographical notes. I am sure it must be still available at the Canterbury Public Library. I was delighted to find it, as I had holidayed there in the early 19405. — Yours, etc., COLLEEN BURROUGH; December 11, 1985.
