Robson badminton manager
A former New Zealand Davis Cup tennis captain has been named manager of the New Zealand badminton squad for tournaments in Vancouver, Canada, in early Februaiy. Jeff Robson, also a top badminton player, will manage the 10-strong New Zealand squad for the Thomas and Über cups with a nine times badminton champion, Richard Purser, as coach. Robson’s son, Graeme, is in the men’s team. The teams are.— . Thomas Cup (men): Kerrin Harrison (North Shore), Stephen Robb (Auckland), Graeme Robson (Auckland), Glen Stewart (Auckland), Jacob van Seim (Waitemata). Über Cup (women): Jane Clarke (Canterbury), Sandra Henare (Auckland), Katrin Lockey (North Shore), Julie Still (Otago), Toni Whittaker (Auckland). The manager is Mr Jeff Robson and the coach is Mr Riciiapd Purser.
