WALKWAY OPENING DECEMBER 15, 1985 GRETA VALLEY WALKWAY THE Canterbury District Walkway Committee and North Canterbury Coastal Promotion Association are pleased to announce the opening of the Greta Valley Walkway this Sunday, December 13, 1985. The walkway starts opposite the Greta Valley Village on State highway one and from its high point provides magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. It is km long and will take approximately 2 hours to walk. The opening ceremony will take place in the parking area at the start of the walkway, commencing at 1.30 p.m and will be followed by an Inaugural walk. The public is invited to take part.
