Also the Rakala stag Arthur (sire of Lot No. 3 in catalogue) when purchased from Erewhon Station had cut 151bs of velvet. Lot No. 3 must be one of the most outstanding young velvet producing stags in the country. At 2 years produced 2.7 kg, at 3 years produced 3.6 kg, and this year as a 4-year-old, if cut, would have yielded in excess of 5 kg.
