Policeman suspended
PA Auckland A West Auckland policeman has been suspended after alleged misuse of the Wanganui computer. The suspension is believed to have followed from a police internal investigation into use of search warrants. The Auckland depiSly
police chief, Mr Jim Glynn, confirmed yesterday that a “member” had been suspended, but he would not elaborate on the allegations. Mr Glynn said the file was sent to the AttorneyGeneral, Mr Palmer, as he rather than the police had to decide whether charges would be laid.
