Export award
New Zealand’s biggest exporter, Fletcher Challenge, Ltd, has presented its 1985 export award to Tasman Lumber Company in recognition of a big increase in timber exports during the last two years. In 1983-84 Tasman Lumber boosted its exports by 50 per cent. That level had been increased a further 85 per cent in 1984-85 to a record $22.7M.
