Victoria Park is a large, but little-known patch of green hidden away in London’s West End. This film takes a candid look at the many activities that take place there on a hot August bank holiday. 4.05: OPUS. The first of two programmes tracing the life of the Finnish composer, Jean Sibelius (1865-1957). 5.0: THE MAKING OF COCOON. A documentary describing the making of “Cocoon,” a fantasy film dealing with benevolent extraterrestrials. 5.30: SPOT ON. 6.00: DAY ONE.
