Changes in store for National Programme
PA Wellington New Zealanders will wake up to a new look National Programme from the New. Year. The 20-year-old programme is to change its identity and become a radio station in its own right known as National Radio. “The objective is to make the best possible programmes and widen the scope of our information coverage,” says the station manager, Errol Pike. The first change will be the introduction of a three hour “Good Morning New Zealand” show from 6 a.m. each weekday. But “Morning Report” fans need not worry, for this popular programme will be included in the new show.
“Good Morning New Zealand” is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 28. Other changes are likely to be announced later.
