U.K. ‘star wars’ deal
NZPA-Reuter London Britain and the United States were to sign this morning (New Zealand time) an agreement in London to co-operate on research in President Reagan’s “star wars” space defence programme, said British defence sources.
The agreement will be signed by the visiting United States Defence Secretary, Caspar Weinberger, and his British counterpart, Michael Heseltine. Britain is the first .country to formally agree on cooperation in the, programme. ■ : :
