Nurses vote for action
PA Invercargill Southland nurses yesterday joined their northern counterparts in voting overwhelmingly to take industrial action over a low pay offer. Their meeting
was attended by 185 nurses. The action, effective from December 17, will continue for three days. It will vary from hospital to hospital, because of the association’s policy that no patient will be put at risk.
