All dressed up for Christmas
Angela Watson, aged 10, of St Albans, helps with the decoration of the Christmas tree in Christchurch Cathe-
dral last evening. The tree is usually decorated by the parents of the Cathedral choristers.
Angela’s brother, Philip, is a member of the choir. A dedication service will be held in the Cathedral on Sunday morning.
Toys and gifts left at the tree will be distributed among needy children in Christchurch and among
children in Lesotho, Africa, by the Save the Children Fund. Gifts of money will be given to the National Council of Churches’ Christmas Appeal.
