Solander No. 1
The Solander No. 1 well in Foveaux Strait was at 590 m yesterday, New Zealand Oil and Gas, Ltd, said. At report time the well was drilling ahead in a 17% inch hole.
The well is being drilled by BP (Oil Exploration) Company of New Zealand, Ltd, using the Zapata Arctic offshore rig. NZOG has an 11.1843 per cent interest in the well.
