Students in concert
The Christchurch School of Instrumental Music will present a concert at the State Trinity Centre on Sunstudents at the school and tertiary age groups will perform chamber music for trios and Haydn, oven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Smetana, gaint-Saens, Cezar Cui, and Franklßridge.
A feature of the concert will be the presentation of five scholarships, and 12 bursaries to students of the school. Martin Riseley, aged 15, and Bruce Hammonds, aged 13, two of the scholarship winners, will perform at the concert. The other scholarship winners are Oliver Hancock, Helen Bush, and tarion Harvey. Bursary winners are
Sarah Besk, Justin Nijdam, Mary Campbell, Heather Fraser, Leigh Franklin, Garth Russell, Ashley Maries, Lisa Sinclair, Joanne Currie, Daniel de Boer, Euan Harvey and Andrew Balcor. The scholarships range in value from $lOO to $2OO, the bursaries are all $37. Sunday’S concert begins .at 8 p.m. r
