Obituary Mr Eric Froggatt

PA Wellington Mr James Alexander (Eric) Froggatt, a former battle of Britain pilot with a distinguished flying career, has died in Dunedin. He was 72. Mr Froggatt enlisted with the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a pilot at the outbreak of World War 11. He served as a flight lieutenant with No. 486 Squadron flying Hurricanes and Typhoons on dive-bombing missions against shipping from bases in England.
