Wage talks protracted
PA Wellington Award talks for meat workers have been adjourned until December 16, after two days of talks in Wellington. The negotiations'' have been protracted because of the industry’s economic difficulties. .. The union is seeking 19 per cent and employers are offering a flat $2O increase, conditional on some changes in work practices.
