Climbing feat
NZPA-AFP Taipei A woman, aged 76, has scaled the highest mountain in the Far East, a Chineselanguage newspaper reported. The “Central Daily News” said that Wang Lee-hsien, had reached the summit of the 3997 m Mount Morrison. Wang left Taicung, in central Taiwan, and climbed the peak after hiking 12 km, said the newspaper, which is owned by the ruling Kuo mintang Party.
