Chinese claim pill help for fatties
NZPA-AFP Hong Kong China has developed a new pill for reducing people’s weight without side-effects, according to a report in Hong Kong. The new pill, named “xiao fan mei” (fat-reducing beauty pill), comprised both Chinese medicinal herbs and Western medicine, and had been developed by a medical university in Xian, Chinese newspapers in Hong Kong said, quoting the
China News Service.
It was planned to start production of the pill.
The official ' Chinese features agency cited the case of a woman weighing 164 kg who was down to 124 kg after six months of treatment using the pill soon.
It said that 89.81 per cent of 305 sample cases tested had proved successful and had not shown side-effects.
