Thanks to Ken Barwell
A presentation will be made to Mr Ken Barwell, of Loburn at the Canterbury show tomorrow in recognition of his service to the show’s dog trial events.
Mr S. E. McLean, chairman of the A. and P. association’s dog trial subcommittee, said Mr Barwell had done a “mammoth job
over many years” in helping arrange the dog trials. He regularly supplies the sheep for use in the trials. The presentation will be made by Mr Ray Maskew, president of the Royal Agricultural Society, and a former president of the Canterbury A. and P. Association. He is a keen supporter of the dog trial events.
