Sheep breeds
The sheep section at the Canterbury show forms the biggest sheep show in New Zealand and one of the biggest in the world. Twenty-one different breeds will be exhibited and entries total 1379, compared with 1479 last year. Individual breed entries of sheep, with last year’s figures in brackets, are:—
