‘Swan Lake’ ballet almost sold out
The Royal New Zealand Ballet’s “Swan Lake” season in Christchurch is almost a sell-out, well before counter sales of tickets begin. Counter sales at the Theatre Royal will begin for the three-night season on November 18. Bookings yesterday for the December 5, 6, and 7 shows were very
heavy. x . Mrs Dorothy Carter, of the Theatre Royal booking office, spent a hectic day answering telephone calls about tickets and processing mail bookings. Only mail bookings, accompanied by a newspaper coupon, are being accepted at present.
