Call for minor change to office project
Although an application by Burleigh Properties to erect an office building at 122 Riccarton Road has been refused, the Riccarton Borough Council has said it will allow the building if a few minor changes are made. The first proposal by Biirleigh properties showed a site coverage of 46 per cent when the scheme requirement was 40 per cent Sub-
missions by the company at the hearing reduced the coverage to 41 per cent of the site, but the council said that any new development on a clear site should meet the scheme requirement in full. The council said it would also require more than the 28 car-parks allowed for by the company and better access to the car-park was needed.
