Offer for EMCO
Steel and Tube Holdings, S Ltd, is to make a full takeover offer for EMCO Group, £ Ltd. Both groups are based in £, Wellington and earlier this year Brierley Investments, S* Ltd, fought a battle for control £ of EMCO, finally selling its stake to Steel and Tube. Terms '•> of the offer will be: For each *’ two ordinary shares in EMCO, J! three Steel and Tube' ordinary shares, plus 30c cash; for each specified preference share in EMCO, one Steel and Tube ordinary share plus 25c cash. EMCO has issued a “don’t-sell” notice.
