Burglars took fashion clothing valued at more than $30,000 from Plimsoll’s Menswear, at thee corner of Colombo Street and Lichfield Street, on Wednesday night. The stolen articles of clothing, which numbered more than 1000, had been carefully selected, said the
store’s manager, Mr John Doggett. They included jeans, casual trousers, and suits. “I would say it was pretty well organised,” he said. The burglars broke into the shop after waiting in a foyer at the rear of the building.
