Special correspondent Invercargill Bi Noble should make amends for his last start sixth when he contests the London Woolbrokers, Ltd, Handicap at Gore tomorrow. Prince Majestic’s brother will only have to reproduce an effort in keeping with his Otago success two starts back to beat this ordinary field. He

is in receipt of 2.5 kg of Ocean Guard, which is tilting for a hat-trick of wins. Ocean Guard won over 1600 m at the Winton fixture and repeated the dose in Grant Cooksley’s hands over 2000 m at Wyndham last Friday. Now that he has had three starts in a fresh preparation, Courier Flight should be at a stage of readiness to reveal

something more like his true worth. He prejudiced his chance over 1600 m at Winton by pulling too much. Baliway, which resumed on a winning note against the sprinters at Wingatui last month, may again prove too a for his rivals in the gham Park Stud Handicap, the second leg of the T.A.B. double.
