Expansion of union group uncertain
PA Wellington The expansion of the Coalition of Non-Alligned unions is not yet certain, according to a spokesman, Mr Rod Trott. Recently the coalition met in Wellington with another 10 unions sending representatives. An offical then said the “group of 10” had become a group of 20. Mr Trott said, however, that the 10 new unions at the meeting would now nave to decide if they wanted to join. The University Technicians’ Union has said it would not join, in spite of having had an observer at the meeting.
