’Quake cost
NZPA-AP Mexico City The Mexican Government’s preliminary estimate of the cost of rebuilding earthquake - devastated areas is SUS 3 billion ($5.25 billion), says a report in a financial, daily. . “El Financiero” said that the Treasury Department had notified international bankers that it would cost nearly SUSI billion ($1.75 billion) just to replace housing shattered by the ’quakes on September 20 and 21.
