Public Notices PROPOSED STOPPING OF PORTION OF ROAD - ADJACENT TO THE GROYNES In the matter of the Local Government Act 1974, public notice Is hereby given that the Walmalrl District Council proposes, under the provisions of the abovementioned Act, to stop part of a road, being unformed legal road adjacent to The Groynes recreation area off Johns Road, Belfast, adjoining that land described in the schedule below and as shown marked ‘A’ on S.O. Plan 16476 and having an area of 1.4961 ha so that the land can be exchanged with the adjoining owners for land required for road In Johns Road. Further public notice Is hereby given that a plan showing the area of land concerned together with the explanation as to the purpose to which the stopped road will be put is deposited at the public office of the said Council at the corner of Jeffreys and Clyde Roads, Fendalton, where it Is available for inspection during ordinary office hours. Any person objecting to the proposal shall set forth each objection in writing and shall send same within forty (40) days from the date hereunder to the District Clerk, Walmalrl District Council, Fendalton, Christchurch.
