N.Z. Cement profit falls
PA Wellington 71 The NJZ. Cement Holdings, Ltd, final profit for the year to July 31 fell to $4,267,000 - ($5,098,000) the Christchurch- ' based company reported yes- « terday. The directors will recom- ' mend the final dividend of 7.5 c 7 (unchanged) payable on November 29, making total dividend for the year 12.5 c. Cement sales for the year were 525,000 (510,000 tonnes) but since balance date sales ran well ahead of those for the same period last year.
