DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SYSTEMS PROGRAMMERS OR SENIOR SYSTEMS PROGRAMMERS CHRISTCHURCH The Data Processing Division of the Department is currently undergoing an organisational review, which will see the functions of Systems Development. Systems programming, and Data Base support become an autonomous group within the Division. Career opportunities will be diverse and varied as data processing enters an expansionary and exciting phase within the New Zealand Health Service. We are now looking to build up our SYSTEMS PROGRAMMING resources and applications are now being sought from people with a minimum of: 12 months experience as a Systems Programmer gained on medium or large mainframes, experience in MVS, CICS. IMS, or networking software and experience in multi-tasking, and multi-user systems. In addition to the above experience, applicants for the senior position must have a proven record in staff supervision, and a minimum of four years systems programming.
