Heritage Week
Canterbury Heritage Week will end on Saturday with a talk organised by the regional committee of the Historic Places Trust. Walks and talks during the week have revealed the city’s heritage of surviving historic buildings. In the final talk, Dr John Wilson will pose the question, “Why do we bother?” Dr Wilson is editor of the Historic Places Trust magazine, and author of “Lost Christchurch.” His talk will be held in the Canterbury Provincial Buildings’ stone chamber on Saturday, at 11 a.m.
