Shipping news L.P.G. coming regularly
Supplies of liquefied petroleum gas to the Canterbury region have been arriving regularly from New Plymouth in recent weeks on the tanker Tarahiko. The Tarahiko is expected to call at Lyttelton today to discharge a full load of 900 tonnes of L.P.G. The 1511-ton tanker is owned by the Shipping Corporation.
The Tarahiko is calling at the port about once a fortnight, having last called on August 3.
