Internal Auditor Vicinity NZ $45 000 Bougainville Our client is Arawa Enterprises Limited, a PNG public company financially supported by Bougainville Copper Limited (and its parent group CRA) which mines copper and gold in the northern Solomons. The company is active in the wholesaling and retailing of a wide range of grocery, variety and liquor merchandise, with a total of five outlets including two modern supermarkets. Employees number 350 and sales are about NZ$4O million p.a.. with new outlets planned. The appointee will be responsible to the General Manager tor the development and implementation of internal audit programmes and will be encouraged to recommend improvements in company procedures. Liaison with external auditors will be entailed. Initial appointment will be on a two year contract basis and open-ended thereafter. Salary will be approximately NZ545,000 and fringe benefits include fully furnished housing at nominal rental. 5 weeks annual leave with return air fares to point of engagement, bonus at termination or tor continued service, two way relocation of family and household effects, and other expatriate privileges. Recreation facilities, both natural and manmade, on this beautiful tropical island are excellent. Applicants must be formally qualified to at least ACA and have had not less than 5 years audiiing/accounting experience, including analysis of systems procedures and utilisation of EDP.
