Winning kick
The winners of “The Press" junior soccer penalty kicking competition were decided at English Park yesterday.
Ryan Merlo, of Western, won the under 15 competition, scoring twice in his four penalties. The other contestants were Mark Moran, of St Albans-Shirley, and Richard Devey, from Rangiora. The goal-keeper was Brian Davies, of Christchurch United.
