Bank director appointed
PA Wellington The president of Federated Farmers, Mr Peter Elworthy, has been appointed a director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, said the Minister of Finance, Mr Douglas yesterday
Mr Elworthy’s three-year appointment will take effect from the beginning of September. Mr Douglas said that Mr Elworthy would succeed Mr John Aburn, of Wellington, whose three-year term will end on August 31.
