Public Notices PUBLIC NOTICE MATERNITY BENEFITS TRIBUNAL PURSUANT to S.lll of the Social Security Act 1964. the Minister of Health has established the above Tribunal to fix the scale of fees to be paid by the Department of Health for medical services afforded in relation to maternity benefits. It is anticipated that the Tribunal will receive and hear submissions and evidence from the Department of Heath and the New Zealand Medical Association. Hearings will be open to the public. The Tribunal will commence its hearings on Thursday the 29th day of August 1985 at 9.30 a.m. Hearings will continue on August 30 and the 4th and sth September and thereafter to the extent necessary on dates to be fixed. The hearings will be conducted in Room No. 1. 3rd Floor. Trusteebank House. 814 Willis St Wellington. If any other persons claim an Interest in the outcome of the Tribunal’s hearings and desire to make submissions or to give evidence, such persons should give notice to the undersigned of their intentions and should file 10 copies of their submissions with the undersigned by August 23, 1985, and at the same time advise whether they wish to appear at the hearings in person or by counsel and to call evidence’ in support of their submissions. At the opening of the Tribunal's hearings an indication will be given of the likely time for individual submissions to be dealt with.
