Youth with back injury improves
A youth who suffered spinal injuries in a ski-ing accident at Mount Hutt on Wednesday is expected to walk out of the spinal unit at Burwood Hospital. The youth, Michael Amer, aged i 6, had spinal cord concussion, but had im-
proved considerably and should not be in hospital long, said the assistant director of the spinal unit, Mr Alan Bean. The accident happened about midday on Wednesday on the learners’ slope at Mount Hutt.
