NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDERS HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY IMPROVEMENT LOAN 1985, $79,200 PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Paparua County Council at a Special Meeting held in the Council Chambers, Sockburn, on August 5,1985, resolved by way of Special Order to raise a loan of $79,200 for the purpose of financing improvements to the Council’s Elderly Housing Flats at Weaver Place, Sockburn. Repayment of the said loan and Interest thereon will be secured by a special rate of 0.0000072 cents in the dollar on the capital value of all rateable property In the county. NOTE: It is not proposed to levy the security rate, but to meet loan charges from rentals from the flats. It is also notified that a poll of ratepayers is required to be taken on the proposal if 15 per cent of the ratepayers of the County so demand in writing to the undersigned. Such demand must be received at the County Office, Main South Road, Sockburn, not later than 9 a,m. on the day fixed for confirmation of the Special Order.
