HUGHES, Arthur William — On August 6, 1985, at Murchison, dearly loved husband of the late Louisa Hughes, loved father and father-in-law of Vern Gurney (Greymouth). Marjorie and Derek Smith (Richmond), Ron and Barbara (Shannon), John (Westport), Pam (Brisbane), and the late Frank, and Ray Gurney, loved granddad of his 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, and loved brother of Olive (Hokitika), and the late Rita Duncan; In his 82nd year.
