NEW ZEALAND FOREST SERVICE SOUTH CANTERBURY RANGER DISTRICT DRAFT WILD ANIMAL CONTROL PLAN 1985-1990 A DRAFT Wild Animal Control Plan for the 19851990 period has been prepared for the South Canterbury Ranger District (that area lying between the Waitaki and Rakaia Rivers, the Southern Alps, and the sea). Preparation of this plan is in accordance with section 5 (1) (d) of the Wild Animal Control Act 1977. The plan covers much Crown-owned land of various tenures in South Canterbury, and for this re ason it is intended that the approval of the Minister of Forests be sought to the final plan. Copies of the plan are available for inspection at Forest Service offices at 133 Victoria Street, Christchurch, 19 Woollacombe Street, Timaru, South Terrace, Geraldine, and Omarama, or may be purchased at these offices for $4 each.
