Billy T. James unwell
A stomach upset forced the entertainer, Billy T. James, to withdraw from a televised comedy show at the Christchurch Town Hall last evening. He collapsed with stomach cramps at Auckland Airport as he waited for a flight to Christchurch on Thursday evening.
The entertainer’s manager, Mrs Elaine Hegan, said last evening that Mr James was resting, and expected to recover in time to appear in a show at New Plymouth this evening. Plans for him to be at Riccarton Mall this morning have been cancelled.
