Fashions for life-styles
Chic knits for spring
Fashion ’B5 will be the first, three-day fashion exhibition of its type in New Zealand. Its highlight will be the International Wool Secretariat’s 1986 spring/ summer wool/knitwear collection for Europe. This collection, styled in Europe, was knitted up in the I.W.S. knitting and styling workshop in Delft, The Netherlands—the world’s most up-to-date centre for wool knitwear. Relaxed, eye-catching but unpretentious, the collection is reported to be compulsory viewing for the fashion-conscious. Fashion ’B5 is a life-style concept. It enables the visitor to view an array of fashion and related products
including footwear, perfume, cosmetics, haircare, bridalwear, and jewellery. The show runs in the
Christchurch Town Hall complex from September 27 to September 29. Choreographed fashionparades
featuring top New Zealand models will complement the exhibits. The event has been co-
ordinated by Xpo Exhibitions, with the assistance of fashion specialists, Paula Ryan and Pieter Stewart.
