Rose’s garden
With her surviving son, Edward, at the forefront, Boston named a rose garden after Rose Kennedy—as the city’s way of celebrating her ninety-ninth birthday. The matriarch of the Kennedy clan was not present at the ground-breaking ceremony at the Boston waterfront garden but Senator Edward Kennedy led more than 300 guests and members of the Kennedy family in paying homage to her.—Boston.
