McDowell at 62.1%
PA Wellington McConnell Dowell Corporation, Ltd, reports that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Moresgrow Pty, Ltd, has received acceptances for 62.1 per cent of the shares in Acrow Australia, Ltd. It said the full take-over offer at 250 c (Australian) would remain open until August 6, and said the bid was valued at ?Austlo.3Bs million. Acrow directors said recently that independent advice had been sought and the board now recommended acceptance of McConnell Dowell’s offer, which was now free from conditions.
