Mr Frank Miller at the organ of St David’s Church, Belfast, yesterday, where he was the organist for 71 years before his retirement last January. Mr Miller was formally thanked by the church for his services on Sunday. He became the church organist at the age of 15 and never missed a Sunday until a heart attack forced him to retire last year. Had it not been for his illness, Mr Miller thinks he might have become eligible for a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
