Boit quits
NZPA-AFP Nairobi Mike Boit, Kenya’s great middle-distance runner, is retiring from big-time athletics after an illustrious career spanning 15 years. Boit, aged 36, who was denied possibly his greatest moment by the African boycott of the 1976 Montreal Olympics, when he was the top-ranked 800 m runner, will hold a testimonial meeting in Nairobi on September 11. ■*:
