telephone: 559-703. A beginners’ evening course entitled “Using Your Camera” begins on July 12 at the Photographic Training Centre. The course lasts six hours, spread over two weeks. Slide projector A twin-lens 35mm slide projector which gives automatic dissolving from one picture to the next, or the overlapping of two pictures, is asserted by Rollei as the first of its kind. The projector, the Rolleivision 35 Twin, retails at about $2BOO.
New charger A battery-charger which takes either AA or AAA rechargeable batteries has been released by Unomat. The charger, which can be set to turn itself off when the batteries are charged, has three settings: quick (four to five hours), slow and “permanent” (stabil-ised-current). The retail cost of the charger, the NCLB3, is about $125, as well as $l5 for the AAA adaptor. The distributor is Multi Products, Ltd.
