N.Z. man appointed to I.M.F.
NZPA Washington A New Zealander, Mr Graeme Rea, has been appointed director of the International Monetary Fund’s administration department, the fund announced in Washington. He succeeds Mr Roland Tenconi, of France, who has taken early retirement. Mr Rea, aged 49, has an M.A. degree in English literature from Otago Univeristy, a B.A. in jurisprudence from Oxford, and an L. 1.8. from Canterbury University. In 1979, he joined the legal department of the I.M.F. as one of two deputy general counsel, a post he held until his present appointment.
